Ich finde die Brille einzigartig, leicht, schöne Form und platzsparend.
Die meisten Lesebrillen sind alle etwa gleich, die Ocuno Brille setzt sich
deutlich davon ab, das gefällt mir.

Which sun over-glasses are suitable for driving?
For driving, we recommend over-glasses with a large, clear field of vision and a lightweight frame. Models like Cocoons or Fitovers are specially designed for glasses wearers and offer optimal side protection. Important: The over-glasses should fit snugly enough to prevent stray light from entering from the side.
Can you drive with polarized lenses?
Yes – polarized lenses are generally permitted and even recommended for driving. They significantly reduce annoying reflections on wet roads, car hoods, and windshields. Attention: With some LCD displays (e.g., navigation system, dashboard), polarized lenses can lead to color distortion. This is harmless, but takes some getting used to.
Will the over-glasses fit over my glasses?
Most sun over-glasses are designed to fit over common glasses shapes. The decisive factors are the width and height of your prescription glasses. Brands like Cocoons and Fitovers offer various sizes – from narrow to extra wide. If in doubt, we will be happy to advise you personally: Get advice via WhatsApp now →
Which tint is ideal for driving?
For driving, we recommend the following tints:
- Gray / Smoke: Color-neutral, ideal for bright sunny days – the most common choice
- Brown / Amber: Increases contrast, good for changing light conditions
- Yellow / Orange: For overcast weather and twilight – improves depth perception
Category 2–3 (15–43% light transmission) is best suited for driving. Category 4 is not permitted for road traffic.
UV protection and glare – what to look out for?
All our sun over-glasses offer 100% UV-400 protection – this is the highest standard and protects against UVA and UVB rays. For maximum glare protection, we recommend polarized lenses combined with side shields (wrap-around design). This is particularly important when facing oncoming traffic, exiting tunnels, and in low sun.
Who are over-glasses suitable for?
Sun over-glasses are ideal for:
- Glasses wearers who do not want to wear contact lenses
- People who frequently drive cars or bicycles
- People with light-sensitive eyes
- Anyone looking for a quick, uncomplicated solution – without expensive prescription sunglasses
